Ex-CIA agent Peter (Pierce Brosnan) hoopt rust te vinden in het runnen van een vredig Zwitsers hotel, maar wordt terug in het spel gebracht door een ex-collega. Als een vriendin van Peter vlak daarna vermoord wordt, is hem duidelijk dat er dubbelspel wordt gespeeld.
