In PSYCHIC FORCE, you pick from eight psychic fighters and take to the air in a menacing cube, the arena. You can move in any direction and the arena is quite large, meaning you can get away from your opponent relatively easily if needed. There are normal and strong projectiles at your disposal, giving you the ability of long-range attacks. If you're in close, your energy will be channeled to fists and feet, as punches and kicks replace psychic energy. When you perform a move, your Psy meter will slowly drain, so during the downtime of a fight you must charge it back up. Failing to do so will render you unable to perform any moves besides the basic projectile or punch. There are eight difficulty levels, offering enough of a challenge for rookies as well as seasoned veterans. The game modes include Arcade, Story, Versus, Group Versus, and Survival, as well as Psychiccer's Network and Psy-Expand.
