Windows doesn't provide drivers for every hardware component out of the box, 
and searching for the right drivers can be a lot of frustrating work. By 
downloading the Basic Drivers set, a lot of components can be installed 
right away.

NO SOFTWARE INSTALLATION REQUIRED. Open the Device Manager and select the 
component you want to install. Use the Windows Driver Installation Wizard 
and select the directory where Windows needs to search for the Basic Driver 
files.
