          Release Notes:

          L.A. Guns has a rich history when it comes to line
          up changes. It started when a certain Axl Rose
          left the American glam metal band to join
          Hollywood Rose in 1983. Later three members of the
          first L.A. Guns line up, including founder Tracii
          Guns, were involved in the formation of the first
          incarnation of Guns N' Roses. L.A. Guns merged
          with fellow L.A. group Hollywood Rose, but they
          soon all left the group. L.A. Guns soon reformed
          and since then many band members came and went.
          Between all those line up changes the band now and
          then finds some time to record new albums. In 2010
          Phil Lewis (lead vocals), Stacey Blades (guitar),
          Adam Hamilton (bass & keys) and Steve Riley
          (drums) recorded "Covered in Guns", an album
          filled with 13 covers.

          Cover albums are only interesting for the die hard
          fans, the collectors and most of all for the
          musicians so they can record songs that inspired
          them or that are just their favorite songs from
          other artists.

          For this album Phil and his friends recorded some
          rock classics(for example Def Leppard's "Pour
          Some Sugar On Me", "KISS' "Rock & Roll All Nite",
          AC/DC's "Let There Be Rock" and Blue Oyster Cult's
          "Don't Fear The Reaper"), an 80's tune (Matthew
          Wilder's "Break My Stride"), a grunge cover (Alice
          in Chain's "Check My Brain") and a track
          originally from this millenium (Buckcherry's
          "Crazy Bitch").
