From the label MDG comes a miscellany of cantatas, two sonatas and a mandolin concerto which introduces us perfectly to the world of J.A.Hasse - thanks to the stupendous performance given by the ensemble Musica Alta Ripa with the countertenor Kai Wessel who interpret the elegant and beautiful music of Hasse with delicacy, lyricism, sensitivity and irreproachable technical perfection.
