³º California’s newest Power Metal act, Hellscream. º ³
³º Although the band is new a couple of the members º ³
³º are veterans of the Metal wars and they have º ³
³º combined deadly forces to make a force of deadly º ³
³º Metal.s º ³

³º MADE IMMORTAL is the debut album featuring Cage º ³
³º guitarist Dave Garcia and ex-Imagika vocalist º ³
³º Norman Skinner which is you think about it is a º ³
³º match made in heaven (or hell). Both bands are º ³
³º titans of American Metal and these powerhouses º ³
³º have combined to make a great record. Hellscream º ³
³º places itself very comfortably in whole Priest º ³
³º PAINKILLER style mixed with the heaviest of Iced º ³
³º Earth and of course their respective acts. The º ³
³º whole album is fast and heavy as hell. The band º ³
³º keep it very streamlined, nothing in the way of º ³
³º keyboards, acoustic guitars, female vocals, or º ³
³º other distractions, just 100% pure Metal. There º ³
³º are a few brief intro narrations or interludes º ³
³º but those just add a bit of flair before the º ³
³º songs kick in. Skinner is a powerful vocalist as º ³
³º we all know from his days in Imagika. He rages º ³
³º and ranges from screams to roars. We also know º ³
³º that Garcia can play, no question there. The º ³
³º songs are simple but effective grinding bangers º ³
³º that lay waste to legions of posers without º ³
³º batting an eye. º ³
³º º ³
³º The eleven-track album, runs just under an hour º ³
³º and is so Metal it hurts. There is surprisingly º ³
³º little info available about who else performed º ³
³º on the album and no news that I can easily see º ³
³º if they will be a touring act or of they are º ³
³º seeking to get singed to a label. As it stands º ³
³º their independent debut, MADE IMMORTAL with a º ³
³º simple, understated cover, is letting the music º ³
³º speak for itself. I delighted that there are º ³
³º still bands who are willing to cut through the º ³
³º crap and deliver a solid Metal album start to º ³
³º finish, no compromises. Hellscream can provide º ³
³º your personal soundtrack to metal immortality! º ³
