Een afgelegen huis lijkt tot leven te komen en bezeten te zijn door gekte. Het gezin dat er in woont, valt aan ten prooi aan vliegende objecten en meubelstukken. Het meisje Niamh overleeft het debacle, maar de politie gelooft stellig dat er sprake is geweest van een bende moordende vandalen en schenkt geen aandacht aan haar verhaal. Ze wordt tijdelijk ondergebracht bij vrienden van haar ouders die haar met hulp van een maatschappelijk werker een rustige omgeving willen bieden. Maar Niamh kalmeert niet, integendeel...
